PepperMill Friends: building stronger communities together

Running a business is about more than making a profit. At least, that is what we believe at PepperMill Casino. As a Belgian family business, we wanted to do something meaningful with that belief. So we created PepperMill Friends, our way of giving back to the people and communities around us.

The idea is simple. We support people, clubs, organisations and local projects that make a real difference every day. This isn’t with a one-off cheque and a handshake, but through genuine, lasting partnerships. Because real change takes time, and it takes people working together.

What exactly is PepperMill Friends?

You can see this initiative as our social promise. We invest in projects that contribute to a better future for people who need it. Our mission is to give people the push they need to develop their talents and reach their goals. We try to spread this message on football pitches, in youth clubs or at the heart of a local community

We believe that strong communities are built when people look out for each other. That’s why we collaborate with organisations that share this same mindset.

PepperMill Friends wants to help build a society where no one gets left behind. We put our resources, knowledge and network to work in a thoughtful way, with an impact that goes well beyond today. Four values guide everything we do:

More than just a sponsor

Here is something we want to be clear about. PepperMill Friends is not about getting our name out there. Yes, visibility comes with any partnership, but that is never the point.

We look for partners who genuinely contribute to society. Projects that open doors for young people, bring communities closer or support those who are struggling. Sport is one avenue, but we also invest in education, health, wellbeing and local initiatives.

KV Kortrijk and Red Side Academy

Our partnership with KV Kortrijk is a good example of what PepperMill Friends is really about.

We are the main sponsor of the club, but the part we are most proud of is our support for Red Side Academy.

Every single week, this initiative offers free activities to more than 400 children and young people. No entry fee. No conditions. Just a safe place where sport and friendship come first, and every kid is welcome regardless of their background.

The impact of Red Side Academy even caught the attention of His Majesty King Filip, who visited and spoke about how vital such initiatives are for the next generation. That moment meant a lot to us.

This is what responsible business looks like to us. Investing in talent, in opportunity, in the kind of communities where people can actually thrive.

SK Beveren, the Kinderkankerfonds and SKB Iedereen

PepperMill has been working with SK Beveren Since 2024. What started as a sponsorship has grown into something much more meaningful. PepperMill Friends has become the club's main sponsor during this period. In these years we have already built a lot of things to be proud of.

One initiative we are especially moved by is our involvement with the Kinderkankerfonds (Children's Cancer Fund). Together with SK Beveren, we helped carry their logo on the club's shirts as part of one of the largest visibility campaigns the fund has ever run. Getting that message in front of a bigger audience felt important.

We also back SKB Iedereen, SK Beveren's social programme that works daily towards inclusion and equal opportunities for everyone in the region. Football as a force for good. That is something we can get behind.

€5,000 for De Warmste Week

Last year we donated €5,000 to De Warmste Week. This project focused on people suffering from invisible conditions like addiction and mental health struggles.

As an online casino, responsible gaming is not just a box we tick. It is something we take seriously. Protecting vulnerable players and raising awareness are real priorities for us.

This donation was our way of saying that our responsibility does not stop when someone closes our website. We want to contribute to a world where people get the support they actually need.
