It's simple! You participate by registering for the tournament but first read the tournament terms and conditions. Then you play the participating games and depending on the type of tournament you score points to climb higher in the rankings! If you finish the tournament in a winning position you will receive a share of the prize pool that will be distributed.

In buy-in tournaments, you pay a small entry fee to participate. In exchange for this fee, you get a fictitious amount of money with which you can participate directly in the tournament. At these tournaments, you usually also get rebuys. That is, you have the opportunity to register multiple times to try to finish as high as possible in the rankings. Depending on the setting (biggest win/biggest multiplier/etc...) you will finish higher in the rankings after you have played the fictional amount. A win with fictional money will not be added to your balance, but if you win a part of the prize pool, it will of course be added to your balance at 00:10 of the next day.

Multiplier tournaments do not require you to pay a "registration" fee and you will simply play with your own money. Thus, when you can bring in winnings on the participating games, you will earn points and will rise in the rankings. When you win multiplier tournaments, the winnings during the tournament will be credited to your balance.
